Envelope Addressing

  3. Upload your Address List (Click here to Upload)
  4. If you are using inner envelopes, please provide a separate list with any additional information that should be included on the envelope – i.e. name(s) of children or guest.
  5. Send us your Envelopes:
  • Mail your envelopes to Greenleaf Ink, 744 North Street, Greenwich, CT 06831. 
  • Of course, you can always hand-deliver your envelopes if you are within driving distance. Office visits by appointment only: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Please call for weekend availability.

* Some Invitation companies will allow you the option of sending your envelopes directly to your Calligrapher. This has proven to be a simple solution for my out-of-town customers, as in most cases, the return address will be printed on the flaps which is all that we really need to replicate the font and ink color for your envelope addressing.

Time Requirements

*Invitations should be mailed 6 – 8 weeks prior to the event.

Other Requirements

  • Please include extra envelopes for spoilage (approximately 10%).
  • Do not send your envelopes to us in the same box they were delivered in. It is best to put your box of envelopes into a larger box, using newspaper or packing styrofoam for cushioning.

Envelope Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping cost for completed orders will vary in accordance with the weight of the package and the customer’s zip code. Any return shipping charges will be reflected on the customer’s final bill.
  • Customer pick-up is free!

Restrictions

  • Heavily textured paper, glossy paper, dark colored paper, some types of vellum and envelopes which are lined on both sides or are exceptionally thick can oftentimes present problems. If you are unsure, please mail us one of your envelopes to test.

  • White ink and metallic ink is available, but not recommended.
  • Very light pastel ink will not show up well on the envelope.

Return Policy:

      • All sales are final and non-refundable.
      • If there are any errors on your order, and they are our fault, we will correct the problem immediately. We are not responsible for typographical errors, if that is how the information was provided. However, we will certainly do our best to catch any such errors.

*Greenleaf Ink may need to change the format of a name or an address if it does not fit within the margins. If you require a phone call before doing so, we will be happy to accommodate you.
